B3Africa Face-to-Face Training and Use Case Site Visit

The first B3Africa face-to-face course and site visit was organized at the Stellenbosch University (SU), Cape Town, South Africa on 12-14 December 2016.

The course targeted B3Africa Use Case participants from SU as well as participants from other use cases from the Medical Council Unit The Gambia, Peace and Love Hospital Ghana, International Livestock Research Institute Kenya and Institute of Virology Nigeria.

The objective of the event was to demonstrate the main components of the eB3Kit, and well as to provide training on the bika biobank tool (LIMS). The last part of the event was dedicated to the preparation of the implementation of the kit at use case sites.
