  1. Present and discuss how genomic diversity is used in the context of translational genomics in humans and animals (ranging from clinical medicine to animal breeding for health and productivity);
  2. Explore synergies across the human and animal fields in terms of translational comparative genomics;
  3. Examine opportunities to leverage genomic diversity and the many data sets now available as a result of large-scale genomics initiatives (e.g., Genome England, Human Heredity and Health in African Consortium) for the purpose of promoting health.
