The conference is part of the Keystone Symposia Global Health Series, supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
Global Health Travel Awards are for investigators from LMICs where the topic of the meeting is a particular importance. Scholarships, requiring submission of an abstract, are available to graduate students and postdoctoral fellows from any nation. Continue reading »The Global Forum on Bioethics in Research (GFBR) will hold a two-day meeting in Cape Town, South Africa, on 13-14 November 2018 on the theme of “the ethics of data sharing and biobanking in health research”.
As part of the upcoming meeting, the GFBR is seeking case studies that bring attention to key ethical issues that have emerged when conducting data sharing and biobanking in LMIC settings and proposals to participate in a session on guidance and policy issues.
