This webinar will highlight a comprehensive end-to-end solution for precision care in oncology, comprising sample acquisition through to sequencing and analysis, treatment recommendations, and follow-through.
Scott Skellenger, chief technology officer of Intermountain Healthcare spinout Navican, will discuss the infrastructure Navican has put in place to match patients with prioritized treatment options in order to deliver better outcomes while reducing the overall cost burden on the healthcare system.
Navican’s services assist oncologists and their patients throughout the process of acquiring and profiling a tumor sample, reviewing the case and making a prioritized treatment recommendation with the molecular tumor board, facilitating therapy access and appeals, and ongoing patient follow-up.
Navican has partnered with Philips to leverage IntelliSpace Genomics as the hub of its clinical and informatics infrastructure. Scott will discuss how Navican is using IntelliSpace Genomics to capture and transform genomic and clinical data in support of providing treatment decisions.Speakers:

Scott brings more than 19 years in senior information technology leadership roles in the health and life sciences industry. He leads all technology and core operations functions for Navican, including development and support of the commercial technology portfolio. Prior to joining Navican, Scott served in technology leadership roles at Amgen, Illumina, RainTree Oncology, and Human Longevity. Nevenka Dimitrova is the Chief Technology Officer at Philips Genomics. She joined Philips in 1995 after obtaining her PhD in Computer Science at Arizona State University. She has also been a visiting scientist at the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, Columbia University, and New York Medical College. Dr. Dimitrova has worked in diverse areas of signal processing, artificial intelligence, genomics, and healthcare informatics. Recently she has been given the Gilles Holst award – the highest science and technology peer recognition prize at Philips.
