Baobab LIMS has been developed in the frame of the B3Africa project and is one of the tool provided in the eB3Kit.
The South Africa’s Centre for Proteomic and Genomic Research (CPGR) recently announced plans to implement the Baobab LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System), an open-source platform developed with a view to make state-of-the-art tracking of samples, data and lab reagents feasible in resource-constrained settings.
Continue reading »The ISBER Travel Award provides travel support for individuals from emerging countries to attend the ISBER 2018 Annual Meeting in Dallas, Texas. Current employees of biobanking organizations in a Lower and Middle Income country are eligible to apply. A limited number of Travel Awards are available.
The ISBER Travel Award provides travel support to the meeting, including economy return airfare to the conference location, accommodation at the conference hotel for the duration of the meeting, a complimentary full conference registration (including a ticket to the gala and the 5K fun run) and a per diem of $50 USD per day. Applicants are encouraged to submit an abstract to the Annual Meeting.
